Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education facilitates the process of scholarships/fellowships which are offered by the foreign countries under Cultural/Educational Exchange Programmes. Most of the scholarships are for Research, Master’s and Doctoral studies. The students are required to apply online http://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship.

On receipt of offer of scholarship, the same is advertised on Department’s website giving all the details regarding eligibility criteria, value of scholarship, age limit, required qualifications, experience etc. Information is also disseminated through circulars to Institutes/Universities and UGC etc. and in some cases in the leading newspapers. The subject fields for which the applications are invited, are either provided by the donor country or are chosen keeping in view the national need and facilities available in the donor country.
